Pricepoint is configured by default to send an in-app notification whenever there's a new price recommendation. You can find these notifications by clicking the bell icon in the upper right corner of Pricepoint.
How do I read a notification?
Each notification shows the date, room type, and the following details before the price change:
BR (Base Rate): shows your Starting Price
DL: Demand Level
VF (Velocity Factor): shows the Pace Factor
Av.: Availability, shown as available units out of total units (e.g., "2/10")
Below this, you'll see the price change itself, shown as: Old Price → New Price.
What if a new recommendation would fall to my Minimum Price?
If a new price recommendation reaches your Minimum Price, the notification will show the same value for both the old and new price. This means Pricepoint recalculated in the background, but the result stayed at your Minimum Price, since it won't go any lower.
Why can't I see the details for a notification?
If more than 25 prices update at the same time, the notification will show the total count only, without individual details for each price.
