Create a Column Set

Column selections in Prism tables can now be saved as Column Sets to save and easily refer back to useful data such as sold ticket numbers, pre-sale and on-sale dates, revenue, and much more. Column Sets can be created from Prism tables where Columns are selectable, including the Deal and Payment tracking tables.

  1. To set up a Column Set, navigate to a Prism Report by clicking the icon on the left menu bar.

  2. Use the Filters on the right-hand side, or select a Saved View to target a group of events to reference.

  3. Near the top of the page, click Show Events to display the Table of events.

  4. Click the Columns button to open the Column picker.

  5. From this view, use the Add Column dropdown to browse available data. Once selected, new Columns will appear in the Columns list where you can sort, rearrange, or remove any column.

    1. Use the Sort Column and Sort Direction dropdown menus to indicate the order in which the events on the table appear.

      1. For example, sorting by Date in Sort Column and Ascending in Sort Direction will display the events in order from the most recent date to the furthest future date.

    2. Click and drag any Column in the list to reorder them. The order of the columns from the vertical Column picker view will correspond to their left-to-right order in the Table view.

      1. Note: The first Column on the list will be locked in place on the Events Table for row visibility.

    3. To remove a Column from the Column Set, use the trash icon.

  6. Once your Columns are selected, ordered, and sorted, use the Name section to give your Column Set a brand new identity. Column Sets are saved at a user-level, so feel free to get creative!

    1. Use the Save As button to save your new Column Set to refer back to later.

      1. Note: Prism will display a Prism Default Column Set, and changes to the Prism Default set can only be saved as a new Column Set.

    2. Once Saved, your Column Set will be selectable in the Saved Columns dropdown.

You're now on your way to reporting like a Prism pro! Use Column Sets to visualize your Prism data in a more efficient, personalized way.
