Sharing projects with your client has never been easier!

You can manage access to your Client Dashboard from different areas of the platform, and control what they see within them, with simple toggles.

In this guide, we'll show you how to share your project, and how to control what your client sees.

Before you begin...

We're going to look into your client's access at different levels, so before we dive in, you might like to check out these guides first:

Video Demonstration:

Viewing access from your Project Files list

When you open a Project, you'll see the list of files contained within your Project, and from here you can see what has been shared, and who you've shared it with.

By hovering over the highlighted number of clients you've shared with, you can see exactly which clients can access that particular file via your Client Dashboard:

The 'Status' column to the right of this shows the files that have been made available via public link. You can learn more about this here: How to Share your Schedule via Online Link

Managing access via your Project Files list

Both public access (for trades, contractors, etc.), and Client Dashboard access can be managed directly from the Project File list, by clicking on the 3 dot menu on your file:

When you select 'Share', you can then publish your file to your Client Dashboard, and add your recipients; or generate a public web link to it:

Set access permissions on your Client Dashboard and Public Link

You can choose which content you'd like to make visible on either your Client Dashboard, or the Public Link, by toggling the relevant permission groups on or off:

Optional Schedule fields

You have the option to show or hide certain content in your Schedule.
Information fields are grouped into four categories, which you can toggle on or off, to make this information visible, or hide from view.

Optional information fields:

Brand

Includes the Product Name (given by the brand), Brand Name and Product URL

Supplier

Includes the Supplier Company Name, Sales Representative Name, Contact Email and Product URL

Details

Includes access to the detailed view including Notes, Important Information, Product attachments and Custom Specs.

Pricing

Includes the Unit RRP and Total RRP, unit Client Price and Total Client Price (note, client price is calculated from your Trade Price + product markup %)

Removing access to your shared content

You can remove access to specific files from your Project Files list.

To remove a recipient:

Head back into the 3 dot menu against your file, click 'Share', and select 'Delete access' from your recipient's access dropdown menu.

To un-publish a file:

Toggle off 'Publish to Client Dashboard', and/or 'Publish to Web'.

Managing access via your Client Dashboard Settings

If you're reviewing or updating your Client Dashboard settings, you can resend Client Dashboard invitations, revoke access, and copy Dashboard links from here too!

Simply head into either the cog icon from your Projects:

Or to the 3 dot menu in the top right-hand corner of the Project you're working on:

From here, you can:

  • Copy your client's Dashboard link

  • Resend an email invitation to your client to join the Client dashboard

  • Remove their access to the Client Dashboard

How can I view what my client will see?

Great question! You can copy the link specific to your client, which will allow you to see what they see, based on the level of access you've given them.

You can copy this link from the Share panel on either your Project File list, or by clicking on 'Share' from the top right-hand corner within your Schedule, and selecting 'Copy dashboard link':

To copy the link to the public Web version of your Schedule, you can select it directly from your Project Files list:
