How to publish content to the Client Dashboard

Simplify client collaboration by sharing a central link to Schedules, Pinboards, Presentations, and shared files in one accessible location. This guide will walk you through the process of adding these files to your Client Dashboard, ensuring seamless communication and enhanced collaboration with your clients.

We're going to walk you through how to publish content to your Client Dashboard, so before we get started, you might like to check out:

Viewing access from your Project Files list

When you open a Project, you'll see the list of files contained within your Project, and from here you can see what has already been shared, and who you've shared it with.

By hovering over the highlighted number of clients you've shared with, you can see exactly which clients can access that particular file via your Client Dashboard:

Publishing content from your Project Files list

You can publish your Schedules, Pinboards, and Presentations directly from your Project Files list by clicking the 3 dot menu on your file, and selecting 'Share':

If you're already working on a file, and would like to share on the fly, you can also head to the 'Share' button, located in the top right-hand corner:

Both of these options will open up a panel to the right, where you can configure your share settings. Continue reading to find out how to finalize sharing for each file type.

Publishing Schedules

From your Project Files list, or from within your Schedule:

  1. Turn on the Publish to Client Dashboard toggle.

  2. Add your client's email address in the provided field and click Add.

  3. Use the dropdown arrow in the ‘No Access’ field to choose what information your clients can see. By default, brand, supplier, pricing, and detailed view information will be hidden. You can turn on the associated toggle to publish these fields.

Optional information fields:

Brand

Includes the Product Name (given by the brand), Brand Name and Product URL

Supplier

Includes the Supplier Company Name, Sales Representative Name, Contact Email and Product URL

Details

Includes access to the detailed view including Notes, Important Information, Product attachments and Custom Specs.

Pricing

Includes the Unit RRP and Total RRP, unit Client Price and Total Client Price (note, client price is calculated from your Trade Price + product markup %)

Publishing Pinboards

From your Project Files list, or from within your Pinboard:

  1. Toggle on the Publish to Client Dashboard option.

  2. Enter your client's email address in the designated field.

  3. An automatic email notification will be sent to your client, informing them that you have added a Pinboard to the Client Dashboard. The email will also include a link for them to access the Pinboard.

  4. Include a Thumbnail image that will serve as the main cover image for the Pinboard on the Client Dashboard.

Publishing Presentations

From your Project Files list, or from within your Presentation:

  1. Toggle on the Publish to Client Dashboard option.

  2. Enter your client's email address in the designated field.

  3. An automatic email notification will be sent to your client, informing them that you have added a presentation to the Client Dashboard. The email will also include a link for them to access the Presentation.

Publishing Paid Invoices

Invoices live in a dedicated space, which you can access from the left-hand navigation menu.

  1. Head to an invoice with an Open, Paid, or Void status, and click the 'Share' button.

  2. Toggle on the Publish to Client Dashboard option.

  3. Enter your client's email address in the designated field, and click Add.

Sharing documents and other files

To attach a document to your Client Dashboard:

Head into either the cog icon from your Projects:

Or to the 3 dot menu in the top right-hand corner of the Project you're working on:

  1. Scroll down to the Shared Files section.

  2. Drag and drop files into the field or click the field to select files from your device.

To attach a document to your Schedule:

  1. Head into your Schedule and click the 3 dot menu in the top right-hand corner

  2. Select 'Attachments', then '+ Add new'

  3. Add the relevant files from your device

  4. Click 'Save' to confirm

💡 To delete a shared file, click the red bin icon next to the file name.

Removing access to your shared content

You can remove access to specific files from your Project Files list.

To remove a recipient:

Head back into the 3 dot menu against your file, click 'Share', and select 'Delete access' from your recipient's access dropdown menu.

To un-publish a file:

Toggle off 'Publish to Client Dashboard', and/or 'Publish to Web'.

If you've shared an invoice, or a document you no longer wish for your client to see, simply head into the relevant file, click 'Share', and toggle off 'Publish to Client Dashboard'.
