Messaging for Professional Users
Premium Professional Members
Can initiate messages to companies, but only when the company has at least one active job listing.
Before sending a message, users must select a specific job to associate the conversation with.
The job title will appear as the subject of the conversation.
Note: If the company does not have any active job listings, the message button will not be visible.
Free Professional Members
Free-tier members cannot send messages.
Messaging for Companies and Casting Directors
Companies must have an active job listing to send messages to talent.
Messages must be linked to a specific job post.
If a company does not have any active job listings:
Messaging functionality will be unavailable.
Users will be prompted to publish a job post in order to contact talent.
Messaging Features
Once a message is initiated, users have access to the following tools:
Edit Messages: Click on a sent message to make changes.
Reply to Messages: Continue a conversation in the same thread.
Delete Messages: Remove irrelevant or accidental messages.
Message History: All conversations are stored in the messaging center and can be reviewed at any time.
Mobile Optimization: Messaging is fully accessible and functional on all mobile devices.
Restrictions to Keep in Mind
Professional users cannot message other professional users.
Free users can receive messages but cannot initiate conversations.
Companies must maintain at least one active job listing to access messaging.
If a premium professional user attempts to message a company with no active job, the message button will not appear.
Where to View and Manage Messages
To access your messages:
Log in to your Project Casting account.
Click the message icon on the dasboard.
Browse your inbox to manage existing conversations or start new ones (based on your account type).
