Display Start/End Settings and Display Scheduling

You can easily schedule a display by setting rules in the display editor "rules" page.

Display Start/End

Display Start/End lets you set the active period for a display. If you set a start time and end time in advance, the display will automatically be enabled and disabled at those times. If the switch is left off, the display will remain active at all times.

Display Schedule

Display Schedule lets you enable or disable a display based on time of day or day of the week. This is useful when you only want to show a display during weekday business hours, for example. If the switch is left off, the display will be active 24 hours a day, every day.

Combining Display Start/End with Schedule

You can specify a time period using the display start/end settings, and then use the schedule to configure when content is shown within that period.

For example, you can set content to appear only during business hours on weekdays within an event period.

The display itself will be enabled or disabled based on these settings, but Live Mode and Draft Mode will not switch automatically. If you want the display to appear at the scheduled start time, it must already be in Live Mode.
