Show Display A on the first visit, Display B on the next visit
For example, suppose you have two displays (Display A and Display B) that you want to show with the same rules (e.g., show immediately on the top page).
By default, both will appear at the same time. However, you may want to show Display A only on the first visit, and Display B only on the next — in a specific sequence.
In such cases, the "Display history" rule is useful.
Setup steps
Assuming you want to show displays in the order A => B:
For Display A, set "Re-display condition" to "Never show again" so it does not appear on the second visit.
For Display B, in the "Display history" rule, set: History exists: "Yes", Display: "Display A".
With this setup, Display B will only appear to users who have already seen Display A,
resulting in the sequence A => B.
