If your Promolayer display is not showing, follow the steps below to identify the cause.
Quick checks
Wix users: The most common problem is the Wix cookie banner blocking third-party scripts.
Seen the popup before but it won't show again? Check the re-display conditions under Rules — a frequency limit may be preventing it.
Step-by-step diagnosis
Step 1: Check installation using Preview
Click Preview
Enter a URL the popup should display on
Select "Ignore rules"
Click "Launch preview"
If preview did not show
Promolayer is not installed correctly. Use the Install button in the top right to reinstall the embed tag.
If preview works but display is not visible on your live site
Check the orange debug window in the preview. It lists the reasons the popup is not visible on your site.
Each warning in the debug window corresponds to a setting in Promolayer. Adjust the settings listed in your warning box to get your popup displaying.
