Billing on Wix App Market

Explains the billing cycle, plan upgrades, and cancellation process for Promolayer subscriptions purchased via the Wix App Market.

Free Trial

Each paid plan includes a one-week free trial after installation. The free plan has no expiration date.

Billing Cycle

Payments are processed through the Wix billing system. You are charged every 30 days from the date you installed the app.

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged only the prorated difference for the remaining days in your current billing cycle.

Example: If you are on a $9.99/month plan and upgrade to a $19.99/month plan on day 15 of your 30-day billing cycle:

Additional charge = ($19.99 - $9.99) ÷ 30 days × 15 days = $5.00

  1. Go to Manage Apps in your Wix site's dashboard.

  2. Click the More Actions icon (⋯) next to Promolayer.

  3. Click Change pricing plan.

  4. Select your desired plan and click Change Plan.

Downgrading Your Plan

⚠️ Important: Due to Wix App Market limitations, downgrading to a lower-tier plan is not supported.

If you wish to switch to a lower-priced plan, please cancel your current subscription and repurchase the desired plan at the start of your next billing cycle.

Cancellation

⚠️ Important: Deleting the app from your Wix site does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you only delete the app, you will continue to be charged. Please cancel your subscription first, then delete the app.

Per Wix App Market policy, refunds are not available for unused portions of a billing period. However, after canceling, you can continue using Promolayer until the end of your current billing period.

  1. Go to Premium Subscriptions in your Wix account.

  2. Click the More Actions icon (⋯) next to Promolayer.

  3. Click Cancel App.

  4. Select Cancel auto renew and click Submit.

You can check your plan's expiration date on the Premium Subscriptions page in your Wix account.
