If your institution has a campus-wide Proofig AI license, you can sign in with your institution's own username and password through single sign-on (SSO), and you don't need to buy a license of your own. This article shows the steps and the sign-in link for each institution.
How to sign in to Proofig AI with your institution
In Google Chrome, go to app.proofig.com.
At the top of the page, next to Select Region, make sure Rest of the world is selected (not Australia).
Under Institutional Sign in, click your institution's button. The buttons are in alphabetical order, and some use short names, such as Pitt for the University of Pittsburgh or SBP Discovery for Sanford Burnham Prebys. The list below shows the button name where it is different.
Sign in on your institution's login page with your usual username and password, and complete any second step your institution uses, such as Duo.
You return to app.proofig.com, signed in.
Don't type your institutional password into the email and password boxes on the left of the sign-in page. Those are only for Proofig AI accounts that don't use single sign-on.
If my institution has campus-wide access to Proofig AI, how do I sign in?
Click your institution below to go straight to its sign-in page, or follow the steps above. Where the button on the sign-in page uses a short name, it is shown in parentheses.

What happens the first time I sign in?
Proofig AI creates your account automatically, using the email address and name your institution provides.
If you already have a Proofig AI account with the same email address as your institutional login, signing in through your institution moves that account into your institution's Proofig AI account. If that account is part of a lab or another organization's plan, email us at contact@proofig.com before you sign in through your institution. If your existing account uses a different email address, for example a personal one, signing in through your institution creates a new, separate account.
Troubleshooting
Proofig AI says your email or password is wrong. You probably typed them into the Sign in boxes on the left. Click your institution's button under Institutional Sign in instead.
You're not sure which username to use. Use the one your institution's login page asks for. At Stanford this is your SUNet ID; at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Dana-Farber it is your institution account. Elsewhere it may be your email address or a separate ID from your IT department.
Your institution's login page shows an error. Contact your institution's IT help desk. If the problem continues, email us at contact@proofig.com.
You don't see your institution's button. Check that Rest of the world is selected at the top of the page. Some buttons use short names, such as Pitt, MSKCC or SBP Discovery. If it is still missing, see the next section.
My institution isn't listed
Your institution may still have access through a department or lab license. Ask your research-integrity office or library, or email us at contact@proofig.com and we will check.
What is single sign-on (SSO)?
Single sign-on lets you use the same login you use for your institution's other systems. You enter your password on your institution's own login page, not on Proofig AI, and your institution then signs you in to Proofig AI.
