Can I have multiple accounts?

You can have more than one user in your organization. Add them via Settings > Members > Invite People. Depending on your plan, adding users may increase your subscription fee. All plans include unlimited viewers of your view links.

Can I sync my Google or Outlook Calendar to Prospero?

At the moment, Prospero syncs one-way from Prospero to Google or Outlook calendars. To import events from another calendar app, contact the Prospero team at support@prosperoapp.com

Can I import my own events?

The Prospero Team currently directly handles all bulk event imports. Please refer to this guide to bulk event imports and reach out to us at support@prosperoapp.com with your request. We are currently working on bringing this functionality into the app.

Why isn't my event showing up in Google/Outlook?

Syncing often happens in a matter of seconds, but sometimes it can take longer depending on the volume of events. The first time syncing can take a few minutes, especially if syncing a view with several months of events. You can also check your view filters to make sure the target event isn't being filtered out.

Why is my synced event appearing in my Google/Outlook Calendar multiple times?

If an event is filtered into more than one synced view, the event will sync to multiple view calendars. To avoid this, try to sync views with minimal event overlap, or avoid viewing overlapping calendars in Google/Outlook at the same time.

This can also occur if multiple admins are syncing views to an organization's Google/Outlook calendar. Syncing happens per user, not per organization, so ensure that only one user is synced to your organization's Google/Outlook account at a time to avoid duplicate calendars and events.

Why did Google/Outlook Calendar send a canceled notification when my event isn’t canceled?

This can happen for a few reasons. If an event has been altered so that it no longer matches the filter criteria of a synced view, the event will be removed from the Google/Outlook calendar and spawn misleading cancellation notifications. This can also happen if you previously synced the event with invitations enabled, then disabled invitations. Any subsequent sync will remove invitations on the Google/Outlook event, spawning a cancellation notification to any former invitees.

How do I change my default calendar layout?

To do this, go to Settings > Profile. There you can change your Default Calendar Layout to List, Week, Day, or Month layout. Whichever you choose will be the layout that is displayed when you first open the app and when you go to the main calendar tab in the sidebar.

How do I create repeating events?

Currently there is no built-in repeating event function (coming soon!) but you can easily make an event recurring by selecting it and using the bulk edit menu or Ctr/⌘+ D to quickly duplicate the event to the next week or however frequently you want the event to repeat. You can then duplicate your (now two) events to the next date the event should repeat (two weeks later if repeating weekly, so it continues to repeat after the current two selected event weeks, then duplicate 4 weeks later, 8 weeks later, etc.).

Why does my QR code lead to an error page?

If a QR code leads to an error page, it is likely that the item the code is linking to does not actually exist in the Inventory. This could happen if the item was deleted, or if the item was not actually created in the first place and a QR code was generated for an empty item.

Can I allow bookers to request multiple locations in one booking?

Yes. When editing a booking portal, go to the bottom of the Configuration tab > Multi-Location Bookings and allow bookings to include multiple spaces. Bookers will now be able to request any of the spaces made available in that booking portal. To change which spaces are available, go to the Configuration tab > Spaces.
