CLEAR FAQs

Frequently asked questions about CLEAR

Updated this week

Q: What industries and territories does Pulsar CLEAR support?

A: At launch, Pulsar CLEAR will support all industries in the United Kingdom, regulated by the ASA. The product’s regulatory framework covers all ASA CAP/BCAP clauses, with full traceability. We plan to expand into other territories throughout the coming year.

Q: What languages does Pulsar CLEAR support?

A: Pulsar CLEAR is able to assess and analyse content in any language.

Q: What types of advertising content can I submit for review?

A: Pulsar CLEAR can analyze a wide range of content formats, including text, video, images, and audio. It supports a variety of channels, from social media and YouTube to display ads, print, TV, and radio.

Q: How does Pulsar CLEAR ensure the accuracy of its assessments?

A: Pulsar CLEAR is built on a novel hybrid architecture that combines a structured NLP pipeline with the explanatory power of LLMs. This system is designed to be traceable, deterministic, and lightweight, and it provides direct links to the specific ASA regulatory clauses that are relevant to your content.

Q: How much does it cost to access and use Pulsar CLEAR?

A: Running an analysis consumes 1 credit per asset. An asset can be a piece of text, an image, or a video. If you submit multiple assets in a single analysis, you will use multiple credits.

Example: If an ad includes text plus two images, this counts as 3 assets, and therefore uses 3 credits.

Each credit has an associated monetary value. When you sign up for a CLEAR subscription, you purchase an annual credit package (for example, $1,000 worth of credits) that is then allocated to your team to use for analyses as needed.
