Pulseway has stopped selling Kaspersky to new customers and will stop supplying and supporting Kaspersky for existing customers. As a result, you will no longer be able to renew your Kaspersky subscription at your next renewal date. We are taking this action for the following reasons:

  • There are potential, significant, serious issues when using the Pulseway integrated version of Kaspersky with Windows 11, that may cause system crashes. Kaspersky has also stopped supporting this version.

  • We have also unfortunately discovered that the newer versions of Kaspersky are incompatible with the Pulseway architecture and can cause performance issues, so we cannot adopt the version.

  • There is also widespread concern that Kaspersky software can be a serious security risk and many governments have prevented its use or strongly recommended against it.

  • Since February 2023, Kaspersky have stopped updating the anti-virus file definitions used by the AV version we support, so you will not be protected against new threats.

Pulseway supports two other world-class AV solutions and we will migrate you free of charge to one of these.

What happens now?

We will invite you to move to one of our other integrated AV solutions โ€“ Webroot or Bitdefender. There will be no additional costs to you as a result of this change. We will continue to charge you at your existing Kaspersky Workstation rate. If you have Kaspersky server licenses, this move will reduce your AV bill.
