This video will walk you through setting up Pyramid Pi for the first time. If you're not setting up Pyramid Pi but Pyramid v1 instead - it's the video here you should check out.

Before we start

  • If upgrading from Pyramid v1, your existing login should work and any passes you bought with Pyramid Pi will be automatically applied - that will be reflected no later than Friday 9th on your account (see here)

  • If not upgrading, you'll need activate first (new customers only)

Here are the steps:

  • Step 1: Download the Pyramid app

ο£Ώ For iPhone & iPad: Pyramid App is available on App Store (Here)

πŸ“±For Android: Tap here to get it on Google Play Store (Here)

🌐 Web: Pyramid Pi currently only works via the apps listed above.

  • Step 2: Plug in the Pyramid WiFi adapter (that's the little USB stick into the top blue USB port (it's very important that it's a blue USB port as pictured)

Important: Pyramid USB WiFi adapter needs to be plugged into the blue USB port (I'd recommend the top one), this is due to it being a USB 3.0 adapter meaning faster speeds. So it really is essential you follow this step.

  • Step 3: Connect the ethernet cable β€” one end goes into your broadband router (LAN) and the other goes into your Pi device

Wired to router is recommended for best speeds. But, you can skip this step for wireless pairing (not recommended)

  • Step 4: Plug the USB power cable into a USB power adapter (charger and power up your Pi).

πŸ”Œ A 5v3a power adapter (charger) plug is highly recommended as low-rated such as 5v1a/5v2a might not be powerful enough. Do not use the USB port on your broadband router. More details at pyramidwifi.com/USB

  • Step 5: After allowing a few moments for it to boot up, you're ready to open the Pyramid app and follow the on-screen steps. In just a few taps, you'll be ready to rock and roll...
