You can change the Windows display language on your VPS by installing a language pack through Settings. Follow the steps below to switch the interface to your preferred language.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step #1: Log in to Your VPS
Use Remote Desktop (RDP) to access your VPS.
Enter your VPS IP, username, and password.
Step #2: Open Language Settings
Press Start, type Settings, and open it.
Navigate to:
Time & Language → Language
Step #3: Add a New Language
Under Preferred languages, click Add a language.
Search for your desired language (e.g., Spanish, German, French).
Click Next, then make sure Set as my display language is checked.
Click Install.
If a language option appears grayed out or unavailable to select, this is usually due to language-pack availability restrictions on Windows Server SKUs — not all display languages can be installed without additional language pack files from Microsoft.
Step #4: Sign Out or Restart
Once the language pack is installed, you'll be prompted to sign out or restart for the changes to take effect.
After reboot, the Windows interface will appear in your selected language.
Optional: Change Input Method or Keyboard Layout
Still under Time & Language → Language, select your language and click Options.
You can add or remove keyboard layouts as needed.
