Updated over 6 months ago

In this article, we'll walk through how to create a team in your QuotaPath workspace. Creating teams in a workspace can only be done by admins. Team have many use cases in QuotaPath, including:

  • After creating a team, team managers and admins can create leaderboards in order to view a summary of team earnings and attainment

    • Note: Team members will not be able to see the earnings of other workspace members.

  • Team managers and team dates can also be used when creating plans with roll-up attainment credit in order to automatically aggregate deals based on team structure for leadership plans

  • Team manager permission levels can also be managed in teams in order to provide access to their team's earnings, attainment and plan data, participate in the approvals process, etc.

How to Create a Team

First, head to the Teams page. From there, you can either quickly create a team from users assigned to the same plan by clicking the dropdown arrow and selecting 'Create from plan', or you can create a team from users assigned to multiple plans by selecting '+ Create Team':

After choosing '+ Create Team' on the Teams page, in the pop-up modal use the 'Select by plan' dropdown to choose the plan that you'd like to create a team from, or you can individually select users. After selecting the plan, those users will be automatically selected and you can also select additional users to add to this team.

After selecting all the users, click 'Next'. To finish setting up the team, enter in a team name, choose a team color, and enter in the team assignment dates. These team assignment dates will be used to determine attainment credit if the manager's plan contains a path with roll-up attainment credit. You'll also be able to add additional team members and edit individual team assignment dates after creating the team.

After filling in this information, click 'Save' to finish setting up your team!
