In QuoteIQ, you can build your own custom inspection templates using a variety of input types and options. Whether you want to track pre-existing damage, confirm steps were completed, or collect technician feedback, this guide will walk you through how to build a custom inspection form from scratch.

Step 1: Navigate to Inspection Forms
From your dashboard, go to "Forms" or tap the camera icon (QuoteIQ Cam).
Then click Create Inspection Form.
Step 2: Create a New Template
You’ll see a dropdown to choose an existing template. To create your own, click Create New Template under the dropdown.
Step 3: Name Your Template
Give your template a clear name (e.g., "Roofing Pre-Inspection" or "HVAC Completion Checklist").
Step 4: Add Inspection Points
Click Add New Inspection Point. Here you can:
-Write the inspection question or point
-Choose the type:
Text Box
Yes/No
CheckBox
Rating
Step 5: Organize and Repeat
Continue adding as many inspection points as you need. You can re-order them, hide/show them, or edit at any time.
Step 6: Save Your Template
Once complete, your new custom template will now be selectable from the dropdown for any future inspection.

Use checkboxes for multi-step processes.
Use textboxes to collect open feedback.
Use photos to protect your business and show before/after results.
