Contact Forms — Capture Leads from Your Website

Contact Forms is QuoteIQ's lead-capture system — build custom forms, embed them on your website, and route every submission into QuoteIQ. Includes a REST API for custom integrations. Available on Pro, Elite, and Max.

Contact Forms is QuoteIQ's complete lead-capture system. Build custom forms, embed them on your website three different ways, route submissions to channels, generate API keys for custom integrations, and track performance with built-in analytics — all from one dashboard inside QuoteIQ.

Every submission lands in your Submissions inbox where you can accept it, reject it, or convert it to a customer record in one tap. No more juggling between your website form provider and your CRM.

Available on: Pro ($149.99/mo), Elite ($299/mo), and Max ($699/mo) plans.

📍 Where to find it: In QuoteIQ, go to Settings → Form Submissions V2. This opens the Contact Forms dashboard. (The settings menu item is labeled "Form Submissions V2," but the feature itself is called "Contact Forms.")

What You Get with Contact Forms

  • 3 embed methods — Inline Widget (form embedded directly in your page), Popup Widget (floating button that opens the form in a modal), or Direct Link (shareable URL with auto-generated QR code).

  • REST API — Post submissions programmatically from custom backends, third-party tools like Zapier, or CRM webhooks. Generate API keys directly in the dashboard. See our Contact Forms API guide for full details.

  • Channels — Track where every submission came from. Default channels include Email, Phone, Referral, Walk-in, and Website. Add your own custom channels with custom colors and icons.

  • Analytics — Track submission trends, acceptance rates, and channel performance over 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, or all-time windows. Compare performance across forms.

  • Spam protection — Built-in honeypot trap auto-flags spam submissions. Manual spam marking also available from the Submissions inbox.

  • Theming — Match your brand with four built-in themes (Modern, Minimal, Soft, Glass), Light/Dark/System mode, and custom primary color (hex code).

  • Multi-step forms — Long forms can be split into multiple steps to improve completion rates.

  • Push notifications — Get notified the moment a new submission lands.

The Contact Forms Dashboard

When you open Settings → Form Submissions V2, you land on the Contact Forms dashboard. Here's what you'll see:

  • Stats row — Total Submissions, Pending Review, Acceptance Rate, Active Forms.

  • Recent Submissions — The latest leads that have come in. Click any submission to view details and accept/reject/convert.

  • Your Forms — All forms you've built, their field count, total submissions, and active/inactive status. Click any form to edit it.

  • Channels — Quick view of your active channels (Email, Phone, Referral, Walk-in, Website by default).

  • Quick Links sidebar — Five shortcuts: How to Integrate (embed instructions), Analytics (performance dashboard), API Keys (REST API key management), Manage Channels (channel customization), and Legacy Requests (older submissions from the previous system).

Getting Started in 4 Steps

  1. Create your form — From the Contact Forms dashboard, open Forms and tap + to create a new form. Pick a template (Quote Request, Appointment, Job Application) or start from blank. Drag fields in, tweak labels, save.

  2. Grab the embed code — Open the form you just made and tap the share icon (or visit Quick Links → How to Integrate). Pick Inline Widget, Popup Widget, or Direct Link. Each option has copy-paste-ready code.

  3. Paste into your website — Drop the snippet into your page HTML, your CMS's "Custom HTML" block, or your popup builder. Works on WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, and any other CMS that accepts HTML.

  4. Watch submissions roll in — New leads appear in the Submissions inbox. Accept, convert to a customer, or send to the right channel — everything stays in QuoteIQ.

For detailed instructions on creating forms and embed methods, see How to Create and Embed a Contact Form. For API integration, see Contact Forms API — Submit Forms Programmatically.

Channels — Where Submissions Come From

Every form submission is assigned to a Channel, which tracks where the lead originated. QuoteIQ comes with five default channels:

  • Email — Leads coming in by email

  • Phone — Leads called in

  • Referral — Leads referred by an existing customer or partner

  • Walk-in — In-person leads

  • Website — Submissions from your embedded forms or website

You can add your own custom channels with custom colors and icons. Go to Quick Links → Manage Channels → Add Channel.

Analytics — Track Form Performance

Open Quick Links → Analytics to see how your forms are performing:

  • Time ranges — 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or all-time.

  • Headline stats — Total Submissions, Accepted (with acceptance rate %), Pending, and total Forms.

  • Submissions Over Time — Chart showing submission volume across the selected window.

  • Submissions by Channel — See which channels are driving the most volume and acceptance.

  • Performance by Form — Per-form breakdown: total submissions, accepted count, and average response time.

FAQs

Does QuoteIQ have website contact forms?

Yes. QuoteIQ has a full Contact Forms system on Pro, Elite, and Max plans. You can build custom forms with the drag-and-drop builder, embed them on your website (Inline Widget, Popup Widget, or Direct Link), or send leads in via REST API. Every submission lands in your Submissions inbox inside QuoteIQ.

Where do I find Contact Forms in QuoteIQ?

Go to Settings → Form Submissions V2. The settings menu item is labeled "Form Submissions V2," but the feature itself is called Contact Forms.

Which plans include Contact Forms?

Contact Forms is available on Pro ($149.99/mo), Elite ($299/mo), and Max ($699/mo) plans. It is not included on Essentials ($29.99/mo) or Beginner ($74.99/mo). To use Contact Forms, you'd need to upgrade to Pro or higher.

How do I capture leads from my website into QuoteIQ?

Use Contact Forms. Create a form in QuoteIQ, then embed it on your website using one of three methods: Inline Widget (form lives directly in your page), Popup Widget (floating button opens a modal), or Direct Link (shareable URL with QR code). All three give you copy-paste-ready code that works on WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, and any CMS that accepts HTML. New submissions land in your Submissions inbox automatically.

Does QuoteIQ have an inbound API?

Yes. The Contact Forms API lets you post submissions to QuoteIQ programmatically from custom backends, third-party tools like Zapier, or CRM webhooks. Generate an API key from Settings → Form Submissions V2 → Quick Links → API Keys → Generate Key, then POST to the QuoteIQ submit endpoint with your form ID and lead data. See the Contact Forms API guide for the full endpoint, headers, and example.

How do I find my API key for QuoteIQ?

Go to Settings → Form Submissions V2 → Quick Links → API Keys. Tap Generate Key, give it a label so you can identify it later (for example, "Zapier integration" or "CRM webhook"), and tap Generate. API keys are available on Pro, Elite, and Max plans.

Where do submissions go?

Every submission lands in your Submissions inbox (assigned to its channel). You can accept it, reject it, or convert it to a customer record with one tap.

How do I prevent spam submissions?

Contact Forms have built-in spam protection — submissions are auto-flagged as spam if they hit the honeypot trap. You can also manually mark anything as spam from the Submissions inbox.

Can I test a form before going live?

Yes. Each form has a Direct Link tab that gives you a hosted version of the form. Submit a test entry and watch it appear in your Submissions inbox.

What's "Legacy Requests" in the Quick Links sidebar?

Legacy Requests is where submissions from the older form system live. If you've been using QuoteIQ for a while, this is where pre-Contact-Forms submissions are archived. New submissions all flow through Contact Forms.
