Contact Form in QuoteIQ

Add a contact form to your website or share a direct link to collect leads that feed directly into your QuoteIQ account.

Updated over a week ago

With QuoteIQ’s Contact Form feature, you can collect new leads automatically by either embedding a contact form directly onto your website or sharing a public link with potential customers. When someone fills out the form, their information is sent straight to your Contact Requests tab inside QuoteIQ. From there, you can accept the request to instantly add them to your Contacts list, keeping your CRM organized and your pipeline full. In this article, we’ll show you exactly how to set it up and how the process works for both you and your customers.

Step 1: Access the Contact Form Setup

Go to Settings → Scroll to the Self Service section → Click Contact Form Setup.

Here, you’ll find two pieces of code:

  • A public link (use this if you’re sharing the form without a website).

  • An embed code (use this to paste into your website’s HTML to display the form directly on your site).

Click Copy Link or Copy Code, depending on your preferred method.

Step 2: Embed the Code on Your Website

If you’re embedding the code, paste it into your website’s codebase in the desired location. You may need to adjust the height or width to match your site’s layout.

Step 3: Customer Submits the Form

When a customer visits your form link or website, they’ll fill out fields like:

  • Name, Email, Phone

  • Company Name (optional)

  • Address & Zip

  • Referral Type

  • Services Requested

Once submitted, they’ll see a success message and their request will appear in your QuoteIQ account.

Step 4: Manage Contact Requests

From your dashboard, go to the Contact Requests tab in the left menu.

You’ll see a list of new submissions. For each entry, you can choose to:

  • Accept – which converts the form into a full contact record in your system.

  • Delete – which discards the request.

Once accepted, the customer is added to your Contacts list with all the submitted information, including notes and tags. From there, you can quote, message, or add them to automations.

FAQs

Can I embed the contact form on any website platform?

Yes, as long as your platform allows you to paste custom HTML or iFrame code (most do), you can embed the QuoteIQ contact form.

Can I share the contact form link directly instead of embedding?

Absolutely. You can copy the direct form URL and text or email it to potential customers, or add it as a button on your website.

What happens if I delete a contact request?

Deleted requests are permanently removed and will not be saved to your contact list.

Can I customize the look of the embedded form?

The form uses a basic iFrame layout. You can apply styling within your website’s CSS to adjust size or spacing as needed.

Will accepted requests sync with existing contacts?

If a submitted email or phone number matches an existing contact, QuoteIQ will still treat the submission as new and allow you to merge manually after acceptance.

Can a customer schedule a job directly through the Contact Form?

No. The Contact Form is designed only to collect lead information. If you want customers to schedule their own jobs, you’ll need to use InstaQuote or InstaSchedule, which allow for quoting and booking based on your availability.
