Instead of configuring triggers and writing message copy by hand, you describe what you want in plain English and AI builds the automation for you. This works alongside the standard automation campaigns system. You can still build everything manually, but now you have a much faster starting point.

Available on: Pro, Elite, and Max plans (the plans that include Email & Text Automation). The AI generation step uses IQ Credits from your monthly allowance.

Three Ways to Build an Automation

Describe it in plain English. Type something like "remind customers 3 days before their appointment" or "follow up the day after I send an estimate," and AI generates a ready-to-edit automation template with the trigger and message copy already filled in.
Start from the template catalog. Browse ready-made automations organized by use case (follow-ups, reminders, review requests, win-backs), each with an email and SMS preview. Pick one and customize it.
Build from scratch with the use-case picker. Choose your trigger and write your own copy, with AI assistance available right in the message field.

What's New in This Release

Plain-English automation builder. AI turns a short description into a working automation template.
Template catalog. Ready-made automations grouped by use case, each with an email and SMS preview.
Custom form fields as variables. Insert your custom fields into automation messages as merge variables, with a warning if a merge tag is broken or missing so a message never goes out with a blank.
Replies route to your company email. When a customer replies to an automated message, it now goes to your company email instead of a no-reply address, so conversations don't get lost.

How Triggers Work

Automations fire on key customer events: estimate created, estimate scheduled, estimate declined, invoice paid, an upcoming appointment, and more. You can build multi-step sequences with personalization tags so each message uses the customer's name, job details, and your custom fields automatically.

Automations are included on Pro, Elite, and Max plans. When AI writes the message copy for you, that generation uses IQ Credits from your monthly allowance. Sending the resulting emails and texts follows your normal email and SMS sending setup.
