What Are Property Lines in MapMeasure Pro?
Property Lines lets you see a property's legal parcel boundaries directly on the satellite map inside MapMeasure Pro. Instead of guessing where one lot ends and the neighbor's begins, you can view the recorded property boundary while you measure and quote.
This is especially useful on tight residential lots, corner properties, and larger parcels where the satellite image alone does not make the boundary obvious.
How to View Property Lines
Open MapMeasure Pro from an estimate or from your tools.
Enter the property address so the satellite view loads.
Select the Property Lines option. Like all MapMeasure Pro tools, it runs when you select it, not automatically.
The parcel boundary displays over the satellite view.
Measure inside the boundary with AI Measurement or the manual pin tools, then apply your pricing.
Why It Matters
Measure the right property. On tight lots it is easy to trace part of a neighbor's lawn or driveway by mistake. The parcel boundary shows you exactly where to stop.
Show a defensible scope. When a customer questions what your price covers, you can point to a measurement that stays inside their actual property.
Understand the lot before you commit. Seeing the full parcel helps you judge job size and whether a property is worth an in-person visit.
Good to Know
Each lookup uses IQ Credits from your plan's monthly allocation.
Boundary data comes from public parcel records, and accuracy varies by county. Use Property Lines as an estimating and scoping reference, not as a legal survey. For legal boundary questions, a licensed surveyor is the right call.
It pairs with AI Measurement. Pull up the parcel boundary first, then run an AI trace or drop pins manually inside it.
