The stick-on device
Download the RAC Black Box app, stick the device to the inside of your windscreen and pair it with the app.
Your device will come with instructions but it's easy to get started:

Tap Start setup

The best place to stick your device is in one of the corners of your windscreen or behind your rear-view mirror. The most important thing is that it's not in your line of sight.
The plug-in device
The plug-in device goes into your car’s OBD (onboard diagnostics) port. It’s normally under your steering wheel or near the driver’s seat.
Your OBD port may be behind a removable panel that is designed to be uncovered when you plug something into it – we sent a QR code with your device so you can simply scan the code and see where your car’s port is.
If you can’t find the code, you can check where your device plugs in at rac.ticker.co.uk/check-device.
If the OBD location is inconvenient please start a chat, and this can be looked into for you.
Installation is usually simple and only takes a few seconds.
