What You'll Need

Setting Up Your Zapier Integration

Step 1: Create a New Zap

  1. Log into Zapier

  2. Click Zaps in the left menu

  3. Click Create Zap

Step 2: Set Up the Trigger (Radius Agent)

The trigger determines when the Zap will run. In this case, we want it to run when a new note is added in Radius.

  1. In the Trigger section:

    • Search for and select Radius Agent

  2. Under Event, choose New Note Added

  3. Click Continue

Step 3: Connect Your Radius Account

  1. Click Sign in to Radius Agent

  2. In a separate browser tab, navigate to your Radius CRM → Integrations section

  3. Under Zapier, copy the Integration Key (API key)

    • If you don't have a key yet, click to generate a new one

  4. Return to Zapier and paste the key

  5. Select the correct account by verifying the agent's email address

  6. Click Continue

Step 4: Test the Trigger

Before moving forward, test that Zapier can successfully pull data from Radius:

  1. Click Test Trigger

  2. Zapier will fetch a recent note from your Radius account

  3. Review the data to verify it looks correct (check the lead email and note text)

  4. Click Continue

Step 5: Set Up the Action (Follow Up Boss)

The action determines what happens when the trigger fires. We want to create a note in Follow Up Boss.

  1. In the Action section:

    • Search for and select Follow Up Boss

  2. Under Event, choose Create Note

  3. Click Continue

Step 6: Connect Your Follow Up Boss Account

  1. Click Sign in to Follow Up Boss

  2. Enter the API Key from your Follow Up Boss account

  3. Select the correct Follow Up Boss account (verify by checking the account name)

  4. Click Continue

Step 7: Map the Fields

This step connects the data from Radius to the corresponding fields in Follow Up Boss:

Click Continue when finished mapping.

Step 8: Test the Action

Verify that the Zap works correctly before publishing:

  1. Click Test & Continue

  2. Wait for confirmation that the test was successful

    • You should see: ✅ "A note was created successfully in Follow Up Boss"

  3. Review the test note in Follow Up Boss to ensure it looks correct

  4. Click Publish to make the Zap live



Validating Your Integration

After publishing your Zap, test it with real data to ensure everything works smoothly:

  1. Go to Radius Agent

  2. Add a test note to any lead

  3. Wait approximately 2 minutes (Zapier runs in cycles and may not be instant)

  4. Log into Follow Up Boss

  5. Verify that the note appears under the correct contact

Troubleshooting

Note not appearing in Follow Up Boss?

  • Check that your Zap is turned "On" in Zapier

  • Verify the email address in Radius matches a contact in Follow Up Boss

  • Review the Zap History in Zapier for any error messages

Notes syncing to the wrong contact?

  • Double-check that the email mapping is correct in Step 7
