Quickly Access the BRBC: Buyer Representation & Broker Compensation Agreement in Your Docusign

Updated over 3 months ago

With the new changes in California and the requirements to have buyer representation locked in before servicing buyers, we want to ensure you have the resources and tech tools necessary to get the Buyer Representation Broker Compensation Agreement (BRBC) signed by your buyers as easily as possible.

Here are instructions how you can access the BRBC directly from your Radius-provisioned DocuSign account so that you don’t have to go through the full offer flow in the app to get the doc out for signatures. Additionally, since the brokerage is required to have a copy of all signed BRBCs, by using your Radius-provisioned Docusign account, we will have oversight of the documents and you will not have to submit it to us via Skyslope, saving you time and effort.

Option 1

Download a copy of the BRBC in PDF format

Option 2

Click the button below to generate your BRBC DocuSign envelope

Step 1: Click "USE" and then begin inputting recipient contact information.

Step 2: Delete any contact card that is not needed.

Step 3: Input email subject and custom message

Step 4: Click Send

Step 5: Sign Now. DocuSign will prompt you to complete the form and sign. Once you are finished a copy will be sent via email to your Buyer clients to review and sign.

Here is what to do if you receive this error after clicking the link to DocuSign.....

More About the BRBC...

BRBC: Buyer Representation Agreement - Exclusive

  • Radius Requirement Status: The BRBC will be a required document on all Radius purchase checklists starting July 7th.

  • When to use: The BRBC form is used when a buyer wants to engage a real estate agent exclusively to represent them in their property search and purchase process.

  • Why it's important: Similar to the CAA form, the BRBC establishes the exclusive relationship between the buyer and their agent, outlining the agent's duties, compensation, and the duration of the agreement. It provides clarity and protection for both parties.
