Updated over 2 weeks ago

Saved email and SMS templates in Raise More are designed to make one-on-one donor communication faster and more consistent. Instead of writing a new message each time, users can select a saved template, personalize it if needed, and send it directly through the platform. This approach not only saves time but also ensures that messaging stays aligned with campaign tone and objectives, especially when communicating with multiple donors individually.

To use a saved template, click on the donor's first or last name. This is possible from multiple locations, including Contacts, Dialer, and Interactions. The easiest way is to find and filter the required contact from the Contacts window as per following steps:

  1. In the left pane, click Contacts

  2. Click the blue Filter button then click Narrow records

  3. Enter contact name directly in the third filter field or use available filters to filter required contacts

  4. Click on the first or last name to open contact’s profile information

  5. To use a saved email template, click the Email tab

  6. Click Templates at the bottom and select the template you want to use

  7. The email fields will populate automatically, including From, Subject, email text and attachments

  8. Review and click the blue Send button to send the email

The process is the same for using an SMS template. Just click the Text tab (right before Email), click Templates and select a template. The system will automatically populate the From and text body fields. Review the message and click the blue Send button.

Email and SMS templates offer a practical way to manage donor communication without sacrificing quality. By minimizing repetitive writing and keeping messages consistent, they help your team stay focused on engagement and follow-up. Templates also reduce the chances of errors, ensure important details are always included, and allow for quicker responses, making day-to-day communication smoother and more reliable.
