The most reliable way to catch broken links before you send is to use the two review steps built into every draft campaign: the in-app preview and a test send to yourself.
Use the preview to read your content first
While editing a draft, click the Preview button in the top toolbar. A modal opens showing the subject line, preview text, sender name and address, and the rendered body of your email. Scroll through the body and visually check every link label. Links in the preview are clickable and open in your browser, but they do not replicate how an email client renders or wraps them, so use a test send to confirm the final experience.
Send a test email to yourself and click every link
Click Send Test Email on the draft editor. The app saves your current draft and sends a copy to the email address on your account. Open that email in your real inbox and click each link to verify it goes to the right destination. This is the only step that lets you follow links in an actual email client before the campaign goes out to your list.
A few things to keep in mind when reviewing the test email:
Links are rendered exactly as you entered them in the composer. There is no automatic rewriting or shortening of URLs in the editor, so what you see in the link field is what gets sent.
If a link is missing the
https://prefix, many email clients will not treat it as clickable. Always include the full URL.Check any links you built with the composer's button or hyperlink tools, not just plain-text URLs. Both are included in the HTML body that goes out.
Review unsubscribe links separately
Every outbound campaign includes a mandatory unsubscribe link added automatically at send time. You do not need to add or test that link yourself; it is handled by the system.
Before scheduling
Send the test email after you have finished editing content, not before. The test is sent from the saved draft, so any edits you make after the test are not reflected in the copy you already received. If you edit links after testing, send another test to confirm the updated version.
