To use Stripe with Rally.Fan, you'll be prompted to create a new Custom Stripe account managed by Rally.Fan. Connecting an existing Stripe account is not possible.
To start earning money on Rally.Fan, you'll need to publish a product on your Rally.Fan Space and set up your Stripe account.
Steps to Connect Rally.Fan with Stripe
Before Getting Started:
Ensure you have a product published in your 'Space' tab.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Access Settings:
Log in to your Rally.Fan account.
Click on the 'Settings' tab located in the bottom left corner of your dashboard.
Navigate to Payments:
Select the 'Payments' tab to begin the process of connecting Stripe.
Initiate Stripe Connection:
You will see a button labeled either 'Connect' or 'Connect Your Bank Account'. Click on this button to proceed.
Country Selection:
A pop-up window will appear asking you to select your country. Choose your country from the list.
Enter Contact Information:
Provide your phone number and the email address associated with your Rally.Fan account.
Verify Your Account:
Stripe will ask you to verify your account using a phone number. You will receive a text message for verification.
Note: Ensure the country you select matches the country of origin for your phone number. For example, if you select the United States but have a European phone number, you will not receive the SMS message.
Provide Personal Details:
Enter the following information:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Home address
Date of birth
Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)
Select Your Industry:
Choose the industry that best describes your business.
Bank Account Information:
Enter the bank account information where you'd like to receive your payouts.
Review and Submit:
Review all the provided information and submit it for verification. You're all set!
Verifying Your Stripe Account
Stripe may take 3-7 business days to initially verify your account. The verification process usually starts after your first sale through Rally.Fan. During this time, funds will be in a 'Pending' state for 3-7 business days before moving to 'Account Balance', where you'll be able to cash out.
Keep in mind that funds cannot be transferred to your bank account until your Stripe account is fully verified.
How to Cash Out
Once your funds are available, they will move from 'Pending' to 'Account Balance', and the '+ Cash Out' button will become clickable. If the button is not clickable, it means your Stripe funds are still processing within Rally.Fan. This process usually takes 1-7 business days after your first sale.
Cash Out Timeframe:
After clicking '+ Cash Out', it typically takes 1-3 business days for the funds to reach your bank account.
International Banking:
For creators banking outside of the United States, funds may take longer due to a 7-day rolling basis for some international transactions. This means you can only cash out 7 business days after a customer's purchase. After hitting 'Cash Out', the money should appear in your bank within 24 hours.
Understanding Account Status
Pending:
If your funds are 'Pending', it means they are still being settled in Stripe. Once available, they will move to 'Account Balance', and you will be able to cash out.
Held by Rally.Fan:
Funds in this section indicate that Rally.Fan owes you referral bonuses or affiliate share income, typically paid every 3-5 business days on a rolling basis.
