Creating an online course on Rally.Fan is a fantastic way to share your expertise with your audience while generating income.

Whether you’re offering a comprehensive course, a focused mini-course, or a structured coaching program, Rally.Fan provides the tools to build and customize your course for maximum impact.

What is an Online Course?

An online course on Rally.Fan is a series of lessons that can be accessed by your customers at any time.

These courses typically consist of video lessons, supporting materials, and structured content designed to educate and engage your audience.

The course format can vary, from a few concise modules to an in-depth program spanning multiple weeks.

Types of Courses You Can Create

1. Mini Course

A mini course typically includes 1-3 modules, focusing on solving a specific problem or exploring a particular topic in-depth. This type of course is ideal for providing a detailed explanation that goes beyond what a short YouTube or TikTok video could cover.

2. Full Online Course

An online course generally includes 3-25+ modules, covering multiple topics and offering various solutions. The main difference between a mini course and a full course is the breadth and depth of content.

3. Coaching Program

A coaching program is similar to an online course but is often designed to be completed within a set timeframe, such as a 12-week fitness challenge or a 5-week marketing bootcamp. The content is usually organized by weeks or days, with each module corresponding to a specific period.

Steps to Create Your Online Course

1. Add a New Product

  • Go to your Rally.Fan dashboard, navigate to the "Product" tab, and click on the "+ Add Product" button.

  • Select "Online Course" from the list of product types.

2. Build Your Course

  • In the Course Builder, start by entering a title and description for your course.

  • Scroll down to create your modules and lessons. Modules act as chapters, while lessons cover specific topics within those chapters.

3. Customize Your Modules and Lessons

  • Click on each module and lesson to edit the title, description, and content.

  • Upload your video lessons in the "Video" section, and include any supporting materials like PDFs, templates, or images in the "Supporting Materials" section.

4. Edit the Thumbnail Preview

  • Customize the visual appeal of your course by editing the thumbnail image, heading, subheading, and button title.

5. Set Up the Checkout Page

  • Upload a header image and add a compelling heading and product description to your checkout page.

6. Configure Pricing and Payment Options

  • Set the price for your course and explore additional options like discount codes, quantity limits, and payment plans. These features are available with Rally.Fan’s Pro plan.

7. Advanced Settings

  • Head over to the Advanced tab to tweak more settings, such as editing the confirmation email that customers receive after purchase. Keep the email simple for better deliverability, and include the Course Link for easy access.

9. Publish Your Course

  • Once you’ve completed all the necessary steps, hit "Publish" to make your course live on your Rally.Fan store.

Important Notes

  • Videos uploaded in the "Video" section of each lesson cannot be downloaded by customers, ensuring that your content remains exclusive to your course.

  • Any additional files uploaded in the "Supporting Materials" section, like PDFs or templates, will be downloadable by your customers.

By following these steps, you can create a robust online course on Rally.Fan that delivers value to your audience while expanding your reach and revenue.
