Did you know you can add audio after you've finished recording? Adding audio is a great way to personalize a video or call out special features all from the comfort of your desk. 👂

On the app 📱 ...

*Please note that editing is only available on our app at this time.

1) Open your video up for editing by pressing the three little dots and selecting "Edit Video". Then click on the three dots of your desired clip and select "Edit Clip".

2) Tap "Audio" at the bottom of your screen. Then click "Record Voiceover" and it will give you a 3-second countdown and start recording. 🔉

3) When finished adding your voiceover, select "Stop Record". Your playback will begin. If you are not satisfied or want to record it again, simply hit "Record Audio" again.

Have you ever been triggered by shuffling feet or other unintentional noises in the background of a video? Well, we have… and it was so triggering that we even created a “mute” feature to silence any unwanted sounds. Check out our thoughts on it below:

When to mute:

  • If you’re just recording a unit, amenity, or other video with no speaking.

  • If you enjoy having to re-film because you forgot to unmute during a speaking video. 📹

When not to mute:

  • If you’re filming any sort of video where you’re talking during the shoot. Basically, when you need the words to match what your mouth is saying! (If you’re not visibly speaking in the clip, you can use our voiceover feature later to reduce background noise.) 🗨️

  • If you’re filming a resident testimonial, resident video, or other “live” events. 📅

If you forgot to update the mute setting while recording, no worries. We have a fix for you! 🛠️

On the app... 📱

1) Simply tap the three dots to the right of your desired video. 📹

2) Next, click "Edit Video".

3) Then click the three dots to the right of your desired clip and select "Mute Clip".

*Note: When recording, your clips are muted by default to cut out any background noise during your video! If you want to record with sound, you can click the 🎤 on the screen before you begin recording or do a "Voice Over" on your clips after you have finished recording. However, at this time, there are no options to unmute your videos after you have recorded them. 🔇
