Property Relations Overview

Corporate/Manager users have the ability to switch to an agent role and impersonate properties within their portfolio!

Updated over a year ago

For all actions that affect a property or would have an impact on property data, need to happen from a property account. Switching your user role to an agent role ensures that any actions you take are attributed to the right property enhancing your data accuracy.

With recent changes, we have improved account security and simplified the ability to make changes within accounts that report to you. You may now act on behalf of the property without ever having to leave your account!

What is changing for you?

1) Corporate/Managers have the ability to toggle to an agent role. This is important as all property data and videos are hosted on the property record now, which is accessed by the agent role (click the drop-down arrow next to your name and then select "Agent").

2) If a corporate/manager wants to share a video link, create an embed code, or host a live tour or live session, this will all take place in the agent role under a specific property. 🏠

3) Corporate/Manager users have the ability to move and copy videos between properties in your portfolio. πŸ—‚οΈ

To move or copy a video from a corporate/manager role, first from the Properties Tab, select the property where the video lives. Next, find the video you'd like to share and click the action dots in the upper right-hand corner of the thumbnail. From there select either move or copy and then choose the desired location(s) for the video!

*Please note that if you move a video out of its current account and it is attached to a playlist or is located in a folder, it will no longer appear in either.

Remember, any action relating to a prospect needs to be performed under an agent role. Corporate/Manager users can still create and share content. If they want to create content for a property they will switch to the Agent role and then select the property. If you would like to create corporate-level content you can do so in your own accounts under the Corporate/Manager role.
