How To Enable A New Customer In Rechargly

How to enable a new customer in Rechargly for the first time.

1. Make sure the customer exists in Rechargly

Rechargly pulls customers from Xero Blue — but only after you’ve created their first invoice. If they don’t appear in Rechargly yet, you’ll need to add them in Xero and sync again. Follow this guide: How to add a new customer in Rechargly

2. Enable the customer and send the agreement

Once the customer appears in Rechargly, you can enable them and send their agreement using one of two methods:

Option A: From the Invoices page

  • Create or open a draft invoice

  • Click Send now

This will:

  • Finalise the invoice

  • Enable the customer

  • Send the Agreement

Option B: From the Billing tab

  • Go to the Billing page

  • Tick Send emails now

  • Click Enable customers

This will send out agreements to all selected customers in one go. See full steps here: How to send agreements now.
