Why new Xero contacts may not appear in Rechargly

When you add a contact in XPM, it may not appear in Rechargly immediately. Rechargly imports contacts from Xero Blue only after a draft or approved invoice exists for that contact.

How to make a new contact appear

  1. Create the contact in Xero Blue (not only in XPM).

  2. Create a draft invoice for the contact β€” this can be for $0.

  3. Go to the Mapping page and click Re-sync contacts.

  4. Your contact should appear within a few minutes.

Our integration also runs an automatic sync every 24 hours, but manual re-syncing gives immediate updates. If the contact still does not appear, try editing any detail in the Xero contact (for example add a full stop) and then click Re-sync contacts again. This forces Xero to register the change.
