Register For Program
The first step to registering someone for a program is finding the person you are about to register. Then under that members Member Actions Dropdown select Register for a Program
From here on out the interface will change to mirror what a member would see at their house. Aside from some programs that might be hidden to members you should point out to your program directors anything that doesn't make sense or is confusing as the member is likely to experience the same difficulties. Below is an outline of typical program registrations.
Now you need to find the program. We highly recommend searching for the program by name as it should be the fastest way to finding it. Again, if looking for it by name is troublesome it is likely the members are having the same issue and the program director should contact us if there are any questions about why a particular program is not found in the search. Also notice that there are branch controls on the search and Core defaults to the users home branch when searching for programs.
Select the Division and Session(s) to register to. If you want to register to multiple sessions (Like for a childcare program), you must select multiple checkboxes and click on the
Register Selectedbutton under the all of the sessions. Also, there is a button toSelect Allfor convenience.Select the member you are registering. There might be a notice to indicate there is an age restriction on the program and some members may not be available. Also if the member has been register for the sessions selected you might see another notice.
The information you enter for the member will automatically update the member's profile. The address of all the other members on the unit can be updated by selecting the option to Update ALL members in this group
Any previously answered question by this member would be autofilled. Also any previously answered questions by anybody in the unit will be available as options on a dropdown the top right of the questions section.
Once you fill out all the registration questions and click
Nextyou'll have the option to enter any addons.Finally you'll see a summary of all the fees needed that will be charged on the members account. Depending on the program you will might see multiple line items due at different times. At this point you should verify with the member that all the fees are as they expect. If all the amounts are correct and there does not need to be any discounts added you can select the payment method on this page. Otherwise you can select to
Invoicethe registrations and you can discount or adjust the item(s) on the next page.Once you click Complete member will be on the roster regardless of the options you selected for payment methods.
