The program cart feature enables you to conveniently add multiple program registrations to a single checkout. This is particularly useful when you’re registering multiple members for programs or when you’re planning to register for multiple programs simultaneously. To add programs to your cart, simply click on the Add to Cart button on the program payment page during the checkout process.

Coming Soon: The program cart allows members to temporarily secure a spot while they’re still shopping for other programs. To specify how long the cart will hold items before releasing them back to the available spots, use the Cart Expiration Window option under Association > Settings > Programs. The values for this setting range from 0 to 60 minutes. A value of 0 means the cart won’t hold a spot, and the spot is only secured after registration is complete. When the Cart Expiration Window is set to 1 or more minutes, a timer will display at the top menu bar.
Coming Soon: Every time an item is added to the cart, the expiration timer for that cart will be refreshed by the number of minutes specified in the Cart Expiration Window. This ensures that if a member is actively adding items to the cart, the expiration time will keep extending until they complete the registration or the expiration time is reached.
Coming Soon: If space is still available in the program, expired items can be re-added to the cart by clicking the refresh button on the Checkout page. If the program is no longer available, an alert will be displayed to notify the user.
Coming Soon: A new Manage Cart user permission will enable staff to view any pending or expired items in a unit’s cart, along with the user who added them. When staff users with the Manage Cart permission view the cart contents, they’ll find a button labeled Show/Hide Items Added By Other Users. This button toggles between displaying only items added by their own user account and showing all items added by other staff members, members or participants.
Coming Soon: Expired items will be permanently removed from the cart after 12 or more hours of inactivity. If the Cart Expiration Window is set to 0 minutes, this will happen after 72 hours. These items will be visible in the Abandoned Carts report under Reports > Programs > Cart Items. Members will need to start the registration process again.
