At the time a member checks in, a chime sounds. There various chimes which indicate different states of the member's account or check-in status (Example: First Visit, Balance Due, Birthday, etc.).

Also, there are "milestone" chimes, which play when members reach specific numbers of check-ins (within a year). These chimes are all MP3 audio files which can be overridden with custom sounds. The milestones and chimes location can be customized via the "Members" tab within Association Settings.

The fields to set are the Yearly Check-in Milestone Notifications (a comma-separated list of numbers) and Check-in Sounds Location (a URL path to mp3s).

The naming convention for milestone files are as follows: milestone_1.mp3, milestone_50.mp3, milestone_100.mp3, etc.

If the chime cannot play, a default one will play instead.
