Checking In
Before using the Space Check-in feature, facility spaces must be set up. Please reference the Creating a Space article under the Group Exercise collection.
Once a space has been created, it will appear on the Space Check-in page under the Members tab.
Once a space has been selected, staff will enter the member's information to check them into the space.
On the next screen, users can input who dropped the child off, return time, location, and applicable notes. Keep in mind, these fields are optional as Space Check-in was designed primarily as a child care feature.
Once checked in, staff will see all participants checked into that space, the time they were checked in, expected departure, and health alerts.
Staff can click on a participant and view their drop off information, health needs, and choose to print a space label unique to each participant.
Check-in Count by Age Feature
To better assist staff with monitoring child care spaces, we have created the ability to add age group counts to the staff-facing Space Check-in page. When specified, checked-in members will be counted by their age toward the appropriate age group. Each age group will have a staff-to-member ratio which is used to display the required staff count for that space at that time. a priority will be assigned for these group ratios to determine which group ratio takes precedence for the required staff calculation.
Organization staff will need to provide the age groups (ages and age ranges), count- to-staff ratio, and priority to our support team to set up.
