Personalize your abandoned cart email templates to entice customers to come back in store and complete their checkout.
Edit your email subject lines
1. To update your email subject lines from your app admin, go to the Abandoned Cart Emails tab button on your navigation menu and select the Recovery email 1 tab.
2. This will open recovery email 1's editor where you will be able to update the subject line to better suit your brand.

3. Click Save Template
4. Repeat steps for Recovery Emails 2 and 3 if these are enabled
Design your abandoned cart emails templates
Add your own branded header banner, then customize your email message with the easy-to-use email customization tool.
1. To edit your email, go to Abandoned Cart Emails from the navigation bar. Then select the Recovery Email 1 tab and the Edit Email Design button.
This will open up your email editor where you will be able to either update the text or fully customize your email template. To customize the template structure, drag-and-drop the layout blocks to the email template
2. Click on the layout block to further customize your email. In the right-hand settings panel you can:
Choose different Column layouts,
Update the Background color,
Update the Background content color,
Add a Background image,
and update the Responsive design options: Choose how your email template is viewed on different devices
📝 Note: If you would like to include images side-by-side you'll need to drag and drop a block with 2 or more columns.
3. Choose the content section to drag and drop blocks into your email template
Simple content blocks include:
Columns block
Button block
Divider block
Heading block
HTML block – use HMTL to build your email
Image block – Add campaign images or product images to your email content. You can also add effects to your images, e.g. text overlay from the block settings. It is recommended images are no larger than 600px wide.
Social block – insert social links and choose from a variety of social icon designs
Text block – Personalize your email content and include merge tags such as first name, loyalty points, VIP tier and unique referral program link
Advanced (or dynamic) content blocks include:
Menu block – add a menu to your email to link to the pages of your website
Social Icons – Auto-add your store's social media links from your email settings.
Timer block – add a countdown to your email
Video block – Add a video URL to embed a hosted video in your email content
Abandoned Cart - showcase the items left in your customer’s cart.
4. Click Save
5. Send a test email (optional). If you want to preview your email before you send.
