At Reel Unlimited, we take responsibility for seriously protecting our customer's data. We understand that our customers may want to cancel their design or development subscription with us, so they may no longer want us to store their data. In order to provide transparency and protect the privacy of our customers, we have developed the following data deletion policy:
1. Timeframe for Data Deletion: After a customer has canceled their subscription with us, we will delete all data related to that customer within six months.
2. Types of Data Deleted: The data that we will delete will include all personal data, payment data, tasks and projects, invoices, and receipts.
3. Encouragement to Keep a Copy: We encourage our customers to keep a copy of all data related to their subscription, including task deliveries, invoices, and receipts, in case they need it in the future.
4. Deletion Process: We will securely and permanently delete all data related to the customer from our servers and databases within six months of cancellation.
5. Exceptional Circumstances: In certain exceptional circumstances, such as a legal obligation, we may be required to keep some or all of a customer's data beyond the six-month period. If this is the case, we will inform the customer in writing of the reason for the extension of the data retention period.
6. Account Termination for Abuse: In cases of account abuse, including but not limited to payment disputes, chargebacks, or violation of our terms of service, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the account, lock all data, and revoke any copyright or commercial ownership rights previously granted. In such cases, Reel Unlimited becomes the owner of any works delivered, even if they were created during a paid subscription period.
