We’re excited to share the latest updates are live!
Connect your camera to WiFi before your next game to make sure you have the latest improvements. Read on for how to update and what's new.
How to update:
If your camera is connected to WiFi, power it on and wait 5–10 minutes. It should update automatically to version 2.9.0. If it doesn’t, try a quick reboot by pressing the power button for 2 seconds to turn it off, then turn it back on and check again after 5 minutes.
If your camera is NOT connected to WiFi:
Turn on your Reeplayer camera
Open the Reeplayer app and navigate to your camera and then to Settings
Connect to WiFi in Settings
Tap Update now in Camera Control
Here’s what’s new in version 2.9.0:
🐞 Improved recording stability
We’re addressing a bug that was resulting in rare cases where recordings stopped in the first 1-2 minutes or returned to the setup stage. This update adds more stability to ensure your recordings go smoothly.
🛜 Enhanced LTE reliability
Better performance in areas with weaker signals, so your connection stays stronger.
📹 Smoother playback with improved frames per second
No more jumpy or glitchy footage - improved FPS means smoother movement for both players and the ball.
🚀 Higher bitrate for better quality
Sharper, clearer footage with improved video quality.
Pro tip: For the next week, monitor the side lights and recording timer during the first 2 minutes. If the timer is running and the side lights are green, you’re all set! Let us know if you encounter any issues.
Looking ahead: Our team is hard at work addressing your feedback. Stay tuned for further improvements in future releases and keep the suggestions coming!
