When an event is deleted in the app, its associated footage is not removed from storage immediately.

Footage for deleted events is permanently deleted 15 days after the event is deleted. This retention window gives teams a short period to account for recently deleted content before the footage is removed from our video storage provider.

After the 15-day period passes, the footage is permanently deleted and can no longer be recovered.

Does deleting an event delete its footage right away?
No. The footage is permanently deleted 15 days after the event is deleted.

Can deleted footage be recovered?
Only within the 15-day window, if the event and its footage are still available in your account workflows. To check whether recovery is still possible, contact support@reeplayer.com as soon as possible. After 15 days, footage is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

Why is there a delay before deletion?
The delay provides a short buffer between deleting an event and permanently removing its associated footage.

Does this apply to all deleted events?
