You can manually add individual owner records to your REISift account without uploading a list. This is especially useful if you're adding potential buyers or contacts that don’t yet have associated properties.
When to Add an Owner Manually
Use this method only when you're adding owner details without a property.
If you already have a property address, we recommend creating a property record instead—you'll still have the option to include the owner's info during that process.
Note: if you need to add more than one owner at a time, you can upload owners to add in bulk. See our Uploading Data section for more information.
Adding an Owner
To add a new owner, first click on the Records page on the left sidebar of your account, then select the Owner Records tab.
Click Add New Owner on the top right of the page.
Enter in the owner information, then select Create Owner.
Once saved, the owner will be visible from the Owner Records tab, where you can search, view, and manage their record.
Need to Add a Property Later?
No problem! When you upload property records, if the mailing address associated with the property matches a mailing address in your account, we will automatically add the new property to their owner profile.
If you are adding the property manually, when you enter in a mailing address that's already in your account, we will add the property to their profile.
