Updating a Phone Number as Primary
Some records may have multiple correct numbers, for example you may have correct numbers for a relative or spouse as well as the main decision maker for the property. With our Primary Phone feature you are now able to mark a phone number as the primary or preferred number for the owner.
The Primary Phone can be set manually within the record or on upload. To set it within the record, just click the star icon next to the phone statuses.
When you select Primary Phone, it will automatically update the phone status for that number to Correct.
Primary phone is intended for the one main phone number to contact the owner. There can be only one primary phone per record. If a phone number is set to primary and you select a new number as the primary, the previous number will still have the correct phone status but the new number you select will now be the one primary phone number.
Uploading Primary Phone
To set a phone number as primary on upload, include a Primary pPhone column and map it to the Owner Primary Phone field on upload. Any phone numbers mapped to the Owner Primary Phone field will be marked as the primary and the phone status will automatically be updated as correct.
