How to Create and Save Filter Presets in SiftMap
Creating saved filters (presets) in SiftMap allows you to quickly reuse your most important search criteria, saving time and making your data workflow more efficient.
Why Use Saved Filters?
Saved filters are one of the easiest ways to streamline your workflow in SiftMap. Instead of rebuilding your search every time, you can:
Save time by reusing your most common filter criteria
Stay consistent with your targeting (your “buy box”)
Quickly pull data daily, weekly, or monthly with one click
Favorite key filters for fast access
Prepare for automation — depending on your plan (Expert, AI), records can soon be automatically added based on your saved presets
Step-by-Step: Creating a Saved Filter
1. Open SiftMap and Set Your Criteria
Start by navigating to SiftMap and entering your desired search criteria.
Examples include:
Location (county, city, or zip code)
Estimated Value (example: up to $340,000)
Property type (example: single-family)
2. Add Additional Filters (Build Your Buy Box)
Refine your search using additional filters such as:
Home owner and Property Distressors (Expert & AI Plans)
Property details
Ownership criteria (e.g., minimum years owned)
Listing status (e.g., exclude listed properties)
Example:
3. Apply Your Filters
Click Apply Filters to generate your results.

4. Save the Filter
Once your results are displayed:
Click Save Filter
Enter a name (e.g., Okaloosa County Stacked)
Add a description (optional but helpful)
Example description:
Stacked, 5+ years ownership, not listed.
Click Confirm to save.
Accessing and Using Saved Presets
Go to your Presets section
Select your saved filter to instantly load results
Click the ⭐ icon to mark it as a favorite for quick access
Editing a Saved Filter
Need to update your criteria?
Open the saved preset
Adjust your filters (e.g., exclude a zip code)
Click Update Filter to save changes
What’s Coming Next: Automation
Soon, you’ll be able to:
Automatically add records to your account based on saved presets
Configure which presets feed into your records page
This makes saved filters even more powerful. Records will auto-add as soon as they match your filter criteria so you can reach out to prospects sooner.
Best Practices
Create presets for each of your key markets or strategies
Use clear naming conventions (location + criteria)
Favorite your most-used filters
