Auto-Update keeps your records up to date automatically. This feature is rolling out in multiple phases. The first phase, available now, updates property information, will add relevant lists for distressors, and update AI Scores automatically (available on AI plan for the counties you're subscribed to).
In a future release we will begin automatically removing lists if a property is no longer being affected by that distressor, updating sold information, and will have an option to automatically update owner information. Stay tuned to see what's next! 👀
Auto-Update is toggled off by default. To activate it, navigate to the Settings -> Auto Updates tab and click to toggle on.
Automatic Property & Owner Info Updates
Once Auto-Update is turned on for your account, we continuously refresh the additional property and owner details already on your records, things like:
AI Score
Estimated value and equity percentage
Lot size and other property attributes
Ownership details
This does not swap owners or remove sold properties — that will come in a future release. Phase 1 simply keeps your existing records' information current.
Where to see what changed: the Updates page
From your Records page, click the Updates tab to see a running log of everything that's changed on your properties. For each property, you'll see:
The owner and property address
How many fields were updated
When the update happened
The property's current status
Click the dropdown arrow on any entry to see the specific changes — for example, an AI Score that moved from 34 to 41, a lot size that was added, or an estimated value/equity change.
You can filter the Updates page by date range to review changes over a specific period.
Activity Log Events
Auto-Updates will also appear on the Activity Log for each record, and you can filter by auto-update events.
*Note: List updates will appear under the Lists & Tags updates.
Why this matters: AI Score drift
AI Score is one of the most important filters many customers rely on. Auto-Update keeps this score current on your existing records, so your active filters and lists always reflect the most accurate, up-to-date picture of each property.
A couple of tips if you use AI Score-based filters:
Scores naturally move up and down slightly month to month. A property dropping from 41 to 39 doesn't necessarily mean it's a worse lead — it may cross back over your threshold again next month.
Consider setting your filter threshold a few points below your actual target (for example, 35+ if you're really after 40+) so you don't lose good records to minor score fluctuation.
**Note: AI Scores update for AI subscriptions only, and for records in the county you are subscribed to. Want to learn more about our AI plan? Check out AI Powered Prospecting Data
System Lists
System lists work like the lists you already see in SiftMap and on upload. they're automatically applied based on current data (for example, Obituary, Estate/Heirs, Foreclosure) and they update in real time.
Custom Lists remain exactly as they are today — lists you build and manage yourself, and which stay on a record until you remove them.
All plans include free system-generated lists for records that meet the following criteria:

How often will my records auto-update? We will run daily checks for any updates, and will update your records accordingly.
How do I see what as updated? You can view updates made on the Records page under the Updates tab. The activity log within the individual record will also show any auto-updates made.
Will this affect my existing lists and filters? No. Your existing Custom Lists and filters continue to work as they do today.
