In this article we discuss how to bulk update the call, direct mail, RVM and SMS attempt counters within your records.
The Call, Direct Mail, RVM, and SMS counters you see within a record can be updated in bulk from the records page.
Accessing Update Attempts
To update, go to the Records page and select the records you want to update. Then click Manage -> Update attempts.
You can update by incrementing or setting the number of attempts. If you select to increment, the number you enter will increase or decrease the actual number of attempts. Selecting set will override the current number of attempts with the number you input.
Incrementing Attempts
To increment, toggle to increment and enter in the number you want to increment each attempt by (or use the + and - signs to increase or decrease).
You can increment only one attempt, or multiple attempts at once by entering in a number for each attempt.
Once you've input the number, click Update.
You will need to confirm you want to update by typing or copying and pasting Update Records, then select Update. You can cancel by selecting I've changed my mind.
You can track the progress from the Activity page by clicking the link to the Actions activity page.
Setting Attempts
To Set the number of attempts, toggle the attempts to Set. Remember, setting attempts will override the existing number of attempts with the number you input.
Similar with increment, you'll confirm you want to update the records by typing, or copying and pasting Update Records, then select Update. You can cancel by selecting I've changed my mind.
