Zapier Integration
*Note: REISift access to Zapier is by private invite link. the invite link is located in the article above.
Creating the Property Leads Zap
Select Create New Zap
Setting up the Trigger
The trigger is the step that starts the automation. This will be the Property Leads step of the zap.
Click trigger and type or select Webhooks by Zapier.
Under Event, select Catch Hook.
Click continue, then select continue again. This will generate a webhook or url. Click Copy and copy the webhook url.
In your Property Leads account, Navigate to My Territories and select Add Webhook.
Paste the webhook url you copied from Zapier., then select Send Test Lead.
Go back to your Zapier account and the zap you're creating, and click Test Trigger.
You should see information from an example record populate in the trigger step of the zap.
Click Continue with selected record.
Setting Up the Action
After continuing with the selected record, type REISift in the searchbar and select it.
Note: we occasionally release updates to Zapier so the version you see may be later than 1.0.16
Under the Action step, select Create/Update property as the event.
Next, click continue then select Choose Account and select your REISift account. Click continue.
Under Property Lists, enter in the name of the List you created in REISift for your Property Leads records.
Under Property Notes, add all additional info, for example, how long have you owned the property. To add, first type out the name of the field, then select the field from the search:
From the search field, the "how long have you owned the property" is not going to appear, only the answer will appear so you will need to type out the question, and use the field from the search that populates the answer.
We recommend adding a dash after each answer:
Next, map each address field: property address, city, state, and postal code/zip code.
Under Assign to you can enter in a specific user's email to assign the property record to.
If you are assigning the record you must enter in the users email address. If you enter in a name instead you will receive an error.
Next, map the owner's first and last name, phone number, phone type = unknown, phone status = correct, and email if available.
Under Property Status select New Lead
*Note version 1.0.17 of REISift in Zapier has New Lead available to select under Property Status. For previous versions, you will need to select Custom and type in new_lead
If you are wanting to trigger a sequence by this property status, do not update the property status in this create/update event.
Instead, click the plus sign under the create/update event and add a new event to Add Status to Property, select the property status and map the property address fields. Then save and test your zap.
Changing the status in a separate event allows the status to be be changed AFTER the property record is created so the sequence can be triggered.
See a video example here.
Click continue and test the zap.
In your REISift account, navigate to the records page and search for the test address. Be sure to select the ALL tab when searching. This record will most likely be missing the mailing address and will be located under the incomplete or all tab.
