Restore deleted photos and projects from the Trash Bin

Restore deleted photos, files, reports, tasks, checklists and projects, and archive finished projects.

Written by Rhet Porter

Deleted something by accident? Photos, files, tasks, checklists, reports, and even whole projects go to the Trash Bin when they're deleted, so you can get them back.

Restore an item

  1. Open Trash Bin from the menu.

  2. Choose a tab: Posts, Post Files, Tasks, Checklists, Reports, Files, or Projects.

  3. Open the item's menu (⋮) and choose Restore. It goes right back where it was.

How long items are kept

Each item in the Trash Bin shows how many days are left before it's permanently deleted. Deleted projects, for example, are kept for 30 days. After that, they can't be recovered.

To remove something right away, open its menu and choose Delete Permanently. This can't be undone.

Delete or archive a project

Open the project, click the menu (⋮) in the top right, and choose Archive Project or Delete Project.

Tip: If a job is finished but you want to keep its photos, archive it instead of deleting it. Archived projects move to the Archived tab on your Projects page, and you can unarchive them any time.
