Create a project

Create a project on the web or your phone, add details and tags, and choose who's on it.

Written by Rhet Porter

A project is where everything for a job lives: photos, files, tasks, checklists, reports, and notes. Most companies create one project per job or address.

Create a project on the web

  1. Go to Projects and click New Project.

  2. Search for the address, or click Current Location if you're on site.

  3. Name the project, for example with the customer's name or job number.

  4. Click Create Project.

Create a project on your phone

Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen and choose New Project. Standing at the job? Use your current location instead of typing the address.

Add details and tags

Open the project, click the menu (⋮), and choose Edit Project Details to add a description, a contact, or other details. Click Add Tag to label the project, for example "In Progress" or "Phase 1," so you can filter projects later.

Choose who's on the project

Choose Project Team from the project menu to add or remove people. Crew and Limited users only see the projects they've been added to.

When the job is done

Archive the project to move it out of your active list. Nothing is deleted, and you can unarchive it any time.
