The Subscription page (last item of the main menu, administrator account only) has two faces. Until you subscribe, it walks you through five steps up to payment. Once subscribed, it becomes your management space: plan, card, additional stores and invoices.
Before subscribing: the free trial
When you sign up, you get 10 days of unlimited access to set everything up and test it, web ordering link included. After those 10 days without a subscription, your customers can no longer order, but nothing is lost: your setup stays in place and subscribing reopens ordering.
To get past the first step of the funnel, your setup must be 100% complete (the mandatory steps of the dashboard). Otherwise the setup window opens and reminds you what is left to do.
The five steps
Services: a reminder of what XPRIO includes, the demo app, and your estimated launch date. Your apps are published within a week, that is 7 business days (excluding weekends and US public holidays, as the stores are American); a request made after 6 pm counts from the next day.
Billing: legal company name, address, country and, depending on the country, your tax identifiers (for example company number and VAT number in the UK). These details appear on your invoices. The form is pre-filled with your company data. Changing the country here updates the displayed currency.
App: check your mobile and web apps (Customize button to the Appearance page), then choose your custom URL: 3 to 50 characters, letters, digits, hyphens and underscores, in lower case. Availability is checked as you type; you can only continue with a free URL.
Plan: Monthly, 6 Months (-5%) or Annual (-10%, pre-selected and tagged "Best Value"). All plans include the same features. Each card shows the price per month excluding tax in your currency, the tax (20% in the European Union, none elsewhere), the total and what you save.
Payment: cardholder name, card number, expiry and CVC, entered in Stripe's secure fields, with the summary including tax on the right. If the card is declined, the message tells you why (insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect CVC...). Click Subscribe Now.
Right after, a Congratulations! window shows your planned deployment date and what we will email you as soon as everything is ready: your App Store and Google Play links, a dynamic QR code and a visual to announce the launch on your social networks.
Managing your subscription
Once subscribed, the page shows four blocks.
Current plan: status, plan and price (excluding tax, tax shown separately), current period and next billing date, with the Change Plan and Cancel Subscription buttons.
Payment method: the saved card (brand, last four digits, expiry) and the Change Card button.
Additional stores: the first store is included; with a subscription you can have up to three, the second and third being billed monthly as extras, in your subscription's currency, at the price shown on the page. Stores are added from the Stores page; here you see the list, active and cancelled.
Invoices: number, date, plan, amount and status of each invoice, with a PDF button to download it.
Changing plan
Pick the new plan in the Change Plan window (the current one is tagged "Current"). The You will pay block details the price of the new plan and the unused time credit of the period already paid: you only pay the difference, charged immediately to your card, and the new period starts.
Cancelling, reactivating, resubscribing
The Cancel Subscription button offers two options:
Cancel at end of period: you keep everything until the end date shown. The status becomes "Canceling", and a Reactivate Subscription button lets you change your mind at any time before that date.
Cancel immediately: your customers' access to ordering stops right away, your apps are scheduled for removal from the stores and your additional stores are archived.
In both cases you receive a confirmation email with the access end date. Your setup (menu, products, appearance, URL) is kept: the Resubscribe button lets you start again by choosing a plan and entering a card.
Failed payment
If a charge fails, the status becomes Past Due. The page shows the number of remaining attempts (three in total) and the date of the next retry. During that period your customers keep ordering; only the Update Payment Method button is offered, so you can change your card. After the third failure, services are suspended.
Country, currency and guarantee
Your company's country sets the billing currency: it can no longer be changed once you have subscribed (Settings → Company).
You have a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription: within 14 days of subscribing, write to contact@xprio.com and the first month is fully refunded, once per customer.
