RateMyAgent Awards FAQs

Everything you need to know about the RateMyAgent 2027 Awards for the USA!

You can find all the answers to commonly asked questions below!

How can I be eligible for RateMyAgent Awards?

Claim your free RateMyAgent profile and start collecting reviews. To qualify, you need:

  • At least 3 sales in 2026 as the lead agent in a specific location

  • At least 3 unique buyer or seller reviews in the same area

Once you qualify, the agent with the most reviews and the highest review-to-sales ratio wins. Your review-to-sales ratio is the percentage of your sales in the last 12 months with at least one review attached, measured at the national level.

There are no fees and nothing to apply for. Your verified reviews are your entry.

When do my reviews need to be completed?

You have until Jan. 3, 2027 to collect reviews for 2026 transactions. Every review received by then counts toward the 2027 RateMyAgent Awards.

What are the key dates I need to know about the RateMyAgent Awards?

To be considered for the 2027 RateMyAgent Awards, activate your RateMyAgent profile and request reviews now. All reviews need to be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on Jan. 3, 2027, for property transactions in 2026. Nominees will be announced Jan. 23, 2027, and winners in March 2027.

  • National Team of the Year Top 100

  • Regional Team of the Year Top 10

  • State Team of the Year Top 3

Agents who represent themselves as a team, or as two people on an individual agent profile, are not eligible for Agent Awards.

What does it mean to win an Agent of the Year Award?

Agents win because their clients trust them, and their reviews show it. Each review reflects the experience and quality of service the agent delivered. An award is credibility you’ve earned, and something to share so you stand out in the industry.

What do I win for the Agent of the Year Awards?

Winners receive a suite of digital marketing assets and are announced across all Renowned marketing channels. You’ll also have the option to purchase a trophy to showcase the trust your clients have in you.

What is a RateMyAgent verified review?

A RateMyAgent verified review is tied directly to the transaction and verified by the buyer or seller. When you claim your free RateMyAgent profile, you can request new reviews and upload existing ones. You can also link reviews from other platforms (like Zillow, RealSatisfied, Google, and Realtor.com) to the transaction on your profile, creating a verified review.

Verified reviews are the new standard across the web. Because each one is tied to a real transaction, buyers and sellers know they can trust what they’re reading.

What do I do if I already have existing reviews elsewhere?

You can bring them over to RateMyAgent by following these steps.

My profile is missing some sales. How do I get them there?

If you’ve claimed your profile and some of your recent or past sales are missing, it’s easy to fix. All reviews on RateMyAgent are linked to property transactions, so your profile looks its best when it includes every sale. That way you can get reviews for all of them, and buyers and sellers see your full track record.

Find out how to add a sale in our Listings FAQ.

Why are they called the RateMyAgent Awards and not the Renowned Awards?

Your clients review you on RateMyAgent.com, so the awards carry the RateMyAgent name. Renowned is the company behind RateMyAgent. It’s the platform that helps you turn those reviews into visibility on social, on your website, and wherever clients are searching for agents.
